I’ve already gotten what will likely be my primary summer bag, and it’s a supreme fanny pack. Jo já vím. Vím! I’ve made a decision to partake in one of the a lot more controversial bag trends in recent memory, and after taking the bag for its first test drive last night at the Lorde concert in Brooklyn, I don’t regret it.
I’ll have a lot more on my new acquisition in the next couple weeks after I carry it more, but in the meantime, I’ve been taking note of all the bags out there that I’d want to get if I had an unrestricted budget. Balenciaga extra small Triange Square Bag

I’m 50/50 on Demna Gvasalia’s work at Balenciaga so far: some of it I think is both creative and chic, but he frequently strays into eye-roll territory for me, especially in handbags. I like some of the brand’s simpler spring stuff a lot, though, including this little square design, a logo bag stripped down to its barest elements. The shape is one I like carrying, and although I’m sure I’d get it dirty immediately, the graphic white would be great for summer.
Céline small Soft Cube Bag

I told you I like this bag structure a lot! It’s convenient and functional, holding a fair bit without too much structural bulk. The mint green Céline is doing this season is very pretty, even if it’s not really in my personal color palette.
Chanel cam Bag

I love a cam bag and always have; it’s one of the styles I carry a lot of frequently, especially in the summer. I love Chanel’s flap bags, but for my own personal use, I feel like I’d get a lot more mileage out of a style like this.
Danse Lente tiny Johnny bucket Bag

I’ve been really interested by Danse Lente considering that Net-a-Porter started carrying the bags last year because it seems like the brand gives you a really sophisticated look and finish for the money. The Johnny bag has been Danse Lente’s a lot of successful design (it even helped kick off a trend), and the carry strap and neat way that the top strap falls to the side of the bag make it far a lot more beneficial than it looks like it might be at first.

Circle-handled market totes have become a slow-building trend with unusual staying power, and I’m absolutely obsessed with this particular floral print. The structure would probably stop me from using the bag all that frequently, but the price is pretty affordable and it’d be a incredibly fun piece to have on hand for the ideal situations.

Louis Vuitton Tuileries Besace Bag

For a long time, I was sort of ambivalent to Louis Vuitton’s monogram bags; I understood why the print was a classic and occasionally liked a bag in it, but overall, it wasn’t for me. Lately, though, Nicolas Ghesquiere’s penchant for mixing colored leathers with the standard monogram has helped me see it in a new, a lot more modern light. I especially like this mix of cream, navy and burgundy on a incredibly beneficial bag structure like the Tuileries Besace.
